We have children waiting for someone like you to make their holiday memorable!
Thoughts of the holidays can bring wonderful memories of family, friends and giving. But often many children won’t experience the excitement of receiving gifts during the holidays. Northeast Guidance Center’s Adopt-a-Child program provides someone like YOU an opportunity to bring joy to our neediest children who receive services at NEC and may have serious emotional disturbances or live with a parent who has a mental impairment.
Making Wishes Come True
Adopt-a-Child matches individuals, families and organizations with NEGC children ages newborn to 17 years. We have many children hoping to be adopted by a caring individual or group. Wish list items often include clothing, books, gift cards, art supplies, journals, toys and a family game. You can make a difference by adopting a child or making a monetary donation. 100% of your donation goes directly to bringing joy to the children we serve.
How It Works • Notify us that you would like to adopt a child (call, email or return the Request Form). Adopt a Child Request Form 2017 • Starting November 2nd, you will be contacted with the wish list of the child(ren) you adopt. Then shop, wrap and return the gifts! Gift distribution will take place at the Eli Z. Rubin Children’s Wellness Center in mid-December.
• Or you may make a donation and our staff will do the shopping. Make your check to Northeast Guidance Center with “Adopt a Child” in the memo section and mail to:
