Northeast Guidance Center (NEGC) is a community-based mental health agency founded by the Junior League of Detroit in 1963 to provide services to children on Detroit’s eastside. Our mission is to provide innovative, community-based services to children and adults and their families promoting mental health with an emphasis on total wellness. NEGC serves over 1600 children and 3500 adults annually. President/CEO, Cheryl Coleman quotes President John F. Kennedy,
