Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency is a great resource for infant car seats, diapers and pack-n-plays and holds a Community Baby Shower twice a year for expectant parents or new parents with babies 3 months or younger.

The overriding philosophy of the Supported Employment program is the belief that every person is capable of working competitively in the community if the right kind of job and work environment can be found. The focus of NEGC staff is on offering help to participants in finding and keeping jobs that capitalize on their personal strengths and motivation. What is Supported Education? Supported Education is a program that assists adult mental health consumers in achieving their educational goals. Since the program takes place on campus, the participants become more comfortable and better able to make the transition into a college environment. Students engage in many activities and exercises in the classroom that help build the skills necessary for individuals to succeed in higher learning.
