Marquita Felder has served over 14 years in the human service field through her work with youth and families in the Southwest Detroit Community. After earning her Master’s degree in Social Work from Wayne State University in 2001, she began her career as a Wraparound Facilitator. She instantly connected with the team practice model and values of the job.Marquita is still involved with Wraparound as a Program Supervisor and Program Manager.
Since 2014, she has served as Director of the Children, Youth and Families Center at Southwest Counseling solution, overseeing Clinical Programming and Juvenile Justice Services. Marquita currently serves as Director of Children’s Services at the Eli Z. Rubin Center which is a shared services program developed in 2019 between Southwest Counseling solutions and Northeast Integrated Health. She is also a wife and mother of four and enjoys singing, decorating and spending quality time with her family
