A Volunteer Award!
Linda W., one our Patient Advocate Volunteers, recently won an award!
Each year, Michigan Protection and Advocacy Service (MPAS) holds their “Ernie Reynolds Essay Contest” to recognize individuals who advocate for people with disabilities. Linda wrote about her experiences as a Patient Advocate Volunteer and won 2nd place out of the entire state of Michigan! She was honored at the MPAS Board Meeting and Luncheon in the State Capitol building in Lansing. We are extremely proud of Linda and the work she does each week to help our consumers. Thank you, Linda! She is pictured below with John McCulloch, MPAS Board President.
